musta been Veetak!

It might be the wrong fuse for the wiper motor, check n make sure that its a 20 that goes in there, cause if not, and someone put the wrong fuse in there instead of the fuse poping, it just heated up untill it melted.
Unless this is the original fuse-could be mismarked-that is unlikely.
Have you tested the wiper motor to see if it is jammed-this will cause a fuse to heat up. I have never seen this type of fuse fail this way. You can contact BUSS or Littlefuse (manufacturers) and ask them. Make sure NOTHING else is either on this circuit, correct rating, and most important check for shorts/frayed or damaged wiring in the harness.

Maybe you wired more wires to that line and your current line burned, causing less amps to flow. since the line is forcing amps, you melted the fuse....
thats happening to my clusted light....
I need to change it, I cant ride my car at night llool

all i checked for so far was the wires behind the fuse box to make sure the jackts were on the wires to make sure there wouldint be a fire
the thing i dont get is there is nothing else on that circut and i wasint using the wipers the whole ride down but i did smell something burning... but stupid me never checks **** like this out till something breaks lol... the only reason i found it was cuz i found the fuse on the floor looking just like that

I got a 93 mustang that melted 30amp fuses for an electric fan setup. the fan motor was going bad and causing the fuse to melt. Once I replaced the fan, it stopped. but the fuses looked just like that.

Nope, never seen anything like it.
I take it your fuse box is OK then?
If you need a new one, I got one you can have if needed. LMK if you melt your box the rest of the way.
Oh, and with Florida having that rainy season you described, tell me why I bought a CRX from somebody down there with no wiper fluid squirters? made for an unsafe ride home

with the motor burning up, it would pull more amps. which would explaine the fuse problem. maybe the brushes on the moror went bad... never seen that **** before though.. damn.. that sucks hardcore

Oh yeah, I guess you guys use sand, not salt huh? never thought of that. Either way though, dirty roads and traffic will make your windshield dirty, it's only OK if it's raining so you can wipe it off, but if it's just spray from peoples tires, it's only gonna get smeared.
If you need the fuse box don't hesitate to ask, this is why I kept it. How often do you run into a prob with the fuse box? not often......If you need it, send me like 2 or 3 bucks to cover s/h and it's yours
