Default ok, here is my story............

my whole life i've been a domestic buff. i use to have a 72' Mach 1. in the past 4 years, i've spent almost 3 in s. korea. i really got into the import thing. so when i got back ppl were telling me to get a civic b/c they are a good starter car. so now i have an 02 civic ex 4 dr. for the wife and kid. i'm trying to find good places to buy rsx suspention, k 20 engine, tranni, ecu, mounts and harness. i've found a shop in oklahoma city that says he can get me all the parts for $7,500 is that good or not?? if not, can you guys help me out??? thanks

It's not really a good deal. Than again does anyone really get a GOOD deal just from being a walk in at a shop...no. Especially since the parts they would sell you are probably used.

this is true. do some research before you just walk into these shops. civic ep3 is the 2002-2005 civic si hatchback.

just use the search feature here. you'll find everything you need to know.

NO SUCH THING as a k20a1

I betcha that shop meant they would get you a k20a3 rated at 160 hp

RSX-S (k20a2/k20z1 come with 6speed trannys) k20a3 come with 5 spd...

don't forget about a k24a2 (TSX motor)

k20a is like 5500 just for the motor, k24 will bolt up i believe. a lot of people do this. before you buy a k20a consider boosting and a2 or an a3, the k20a is just crazy expensive still

ya, but if i bought an a2 or 3 then boost it, by the time i boost it i could have just bought the k20a for the same or even cheaper. right??
