Most people dont like bondo cause it's a halfassed way to repair something.
However, the rear quarter panel is a good canidate for bondo since its very difficult and expensive to replace with a clean panel. Assuming that the damage is minimal of course.
Depending on your climate, repetitive shriking and expanding can cause bondo to crack. So I'd look out for any cracking, bubbling or stress marks, especially if the surface wasnt prepped correctly before the bondo was applied.

as long as it isn't super thick, like more than 1/4-1/2" you will be fine as long as you prepped it well enough before you put it on. bondo is porous so you need to get some primer/paint on it so it doesnt soak up water and hold it against the bare metal behind it
