ok I am wondering what short shifter I should get?
frst I hve a 90 EF hatch,
with a b18a1 and hasports shift linkage (do I need an integra shifter or civic; or do both work in the hasport linkage)
what shifter do you guys prefer?
heck I mean what about the stupid ebay ones?
please help
and if there is a thread shoot me, I looked in the FAQ and searched but nothing

lol, I haven't seen that picture in a while. And before someone says it doesn't work, think about it. Who is shifting faster, the person who has to move there hand all the way to the stub on the floor or the driver who moves there hand a little to the right?

It's somthing I'd like to try and too ad on it its the action of the shifter not the sticks leght that matters.
Fastlines is quite agressive from what I've read.
I love my Hurst

I am really considering the fastline shifter. It feels like my shifter is such a reach for me.
I have had a few different shifters in my car including the Skunks single bend, DC Sports, and I currently have the Edelbrock unit in there. I also have a B&M sitting in my garage that I got for free but haven't tried out yet.
One advantage of the Edelbrock unit is, it has a compound bend. The shifter bends back and towards the driver. It moves the whole shift pattern closer to the driver. Which means you don't have to reach for 5th like you do with the DC sports and B&M shifters.
Anyways, I think it's all a matter of prefference. They all do the same thing. Just don't go slamming through the gears with any shifter or you will wear out your syncros to fast.
Anyone have a link where I can buy that fastline shifter?

I actually had a DC Sports in my 98 EX coupe, and loved it!! but...
this evasive shifter feels way better, shorter throw, sits lower (i like), and the shift is alot tighter feeling. i installed prothane bushings when i put it in and that helps alot too i think. for 35-40 bucks shipped, you cant beat it.

Are you sure it was a Skunk2 shifter?
Skunk2's shifters are steel.
