Spring : why is front drop lower than rear
Im looking for lowering springs. why is the front drop lower than the rear? i was thinking due to weight of the motor but they should make the front higher in the front. >?/? so im confused
if they are even the car looks like it is not even. it has to do with the size of the wheel cutouts in the fender. they are smaller in the rear and larger in the front. therefore if the front and back are evenly dropped the car will look like it is higher in the front. dont worry about it.
Or because the suspension companies that make lowering springs make them lower in the front to make the car look agressive. Most lowering springs are made to simply lower the car and make it look agressive (asthetics more than performance). It all depends on what you plan to do with your car. Since I like to road race/canyon race I myself would pick a spring that lowers the car evenly, or close to it, So my caster isn't affected as much. The only reason why I still have TIEN springs on my car now is cuz Im saving up for my JIC's.
