heh, mine does the same thing. i got the vss from a 92 civic d15 tranny, but i could not get it to work with the dx d15b2 in my crx. so i am waiting till i get the b18 swapped in there. as for speed, i just go with the flow of traffic, and if there is none around, i drive a lil slower than what i normally would drive..which is usually 10 miles over anyways.. so i should be doing the limit.. hehe

Code?

What kind of VSS do you have? Electric or Cable?

Check the VSS if it is in good working order. Make sure the cable is in all the way. Make sure its not snapped. Is the cluster good?

I know it's not what you want to hear but the same thing happened to me. I ended getting another speedometer and it works fine. You don't need an Si speedo as a replacement just get a cheaper one and put your Si face on it.
