Default shifting help please!

i have 98 honda accord sohc vtec ..the problem i am having is shifting into gears especially into first which makes a clicking sound. sometimes i have to force it in really hard which really feels harsh! after that it goes really smooth again and sometimes if i just pump the clutch a few times it would also help. does anybody have any suggestions or help they can offer?! i also wanted to know what would be a good type of fluid to use? thankyou!

and also if you guys suggest i need a clutch? where can i find a good one because i already have a mechanic

chk the clutch master cylinder see if it is low on fluid or no fluid,, you could have a leaky master or slave cylinder ...
look under the dash at clutch pedal , where the rod is,, and see if you see any oil . or some that looks like grease.. if so ,master cylinder is leaking, As for the slave, pull back on the rubber boot and see if any oil is there .
if either or is leaking you need to replace it .. And, as you were told before , use DOT3 brake fluid
