Could be a bunch of things, what color is the smoke? do you have a new exhaust? If its really worrying you disconnect the B pipe and start it up and see if smoke still comes out, that should tell you if its the engine or the muffler making the smoke. I have exactly 30k on my car and she runs clean as a whistle.
What he asked above. What color is the smoke? Check your oil level. You should check your oil level regularly. If you drive your car hard, ( in VTEC a lot) your car will burn more oil, that is only normal. Doesn't sound like anything serious..
i got blue smoke, which is the oil color if i remember. It seems to only happen on cold starts. I did change my oil gefore VIR in Feb and there was no alot in there. Ill change it tommorrow and see what happens. No new exhaust yet...
Could be moisture from the catalytic converter. The cat converts HC and CO into H2o and C02. H20=water=steam. Ever notice that a lot of cars seem to smoke in the morning? That is steam from their cats. It is unlikely that you are burning a significant amount of oil at 30,000 miles, though it is possible.
