i would like to know how to do the cable to hydro swap...and where to get the parts i need to do this..i have a 1988 Honda crx dx..i was thinking about a ls but i have came across something bigger...but its has a hydro tranny...but if anyone knows how to swap that over that would be great...and i was wondering how much a b16 cable tranny was looking for one of those but i can't find any online...if someone knows how to get that i might not need to do the swap but it would be good to know because i might stay with the tranny i have

I emailed hasport for this hydro to cable conversion and if the axles would be different than cable and the reply was:

"If you already have Hasport mounts in the car you can get the hydro
conversion for $299.00. That includes the mount and the lever assembly.
You
can use the cable transmission intermediate shaft if you change the
trasmission seal on the hydro trans.

its been about a year now but when i called hmo steve said he didnt sell just trannys had to buy the motor also

 

yea but they dont sell just the tranny you have to buy a motor too

 

then buy one locally you make things toooo hard bobby i believe dat has one

That tranny went for almost 2g's. I had no idea.........

If I ever find one of these in the boneyard I will definetly get on my back and get to work on it.

No way in hell that tranny actually sold for that much. What a rip!
