Chop saw users

I have a question, are you able to cut a 90 degree bend in half with a chop saw ? Talking about sch10 tube here.

i have i tack weld the bend to a piece of pipe perpendicurally. and cut

Yup cuts it pretty easily.

Yeah, i just hold it real tight with a welding glove. Cuts real easy.
