Anyone have Omni Power for their CRX/EF?
ive heard about people having big problems with tech support and customer service with them...
also they used the wrong forks in the front and the front sits way to high with omnipower but they might have fixed all of that

Then he never emails me back stay away from them shady company if you ask me. I also had to go find some eg forks because they sent me wrong ones to begin with.

No offense, proven for what?
True, Tein has some rally & road race stuff in use today and are making some noise in those areas, but for their entry level street coilovers, I'd save the $$ and go with the Omni's. With the difference in price you could get a great rear sway bar and maybe some strut or tie bars as well.
If you blow a strut (which isn't unheard of even with Tein, neither are pillow ball mounts breaking loose on surface street potholes for that matter) would you rather deal with someone in Japan or California to honor your manufacturer's warranty?
I've driven a lot of different EF's on a lot of different suspensions and few of them handled like my car: Omni Race struts at 1000kg/1200kg f/r. I've compared the two systems side by side and have this to say: perch construction on the Omni's is by far more solid than anything else I've used or looked at. It is also one of the few systems with the spring rates wound to my tastes- call me a dick, but I can't get with JDM spring rates at a 2:1 ratio front to rear. In theory, simulation and real life, I've always cornered better with the rear stiffened up harder than the front.
It boils down to this: do you want mild suspension tuning capable of that "dumped" look, or are you building something that can handle great but not look as slick? The correct ride height settings for proper handling are night & day compared to most of these rice rides I see tooling around.
The choice is yours to make, but don't buy into the hype, Omni makes good stuff and if you scratch deep enough, you'll have ppl coming out of the woodwork with horror stories about Tein- or any aftermarket suspension for that matter.
Good luck with your build

I believe they have redesigned the new coilovers and have supposedly corrected all the mistakes from the first design. On the website, they are advertised as *New* so I think the 2nd design should be released already. I'm waiting for someone to try these out and see how they compare to the 1st ones that got a horrible reputation.

Yeah I had just the slip on coil overs and those sucked bad. and now I have S-tech's. Much happier with the springs much nicer ride, good drop , and wheel hop is no longer an issue.

I don't care how it looks, I just want a set-up that's streetable, reliable and handles good.

Yes, I think I will do the same. These look good and I've heard good things about them for newer civics. I guess if they fixed the problems people were having I'm pretty much sold for the price.
