Im going to be running a gt28rs. trying to figure out how im going to run my oil lines and gauges.

For u guys running a bb turbo and an oil pressure guage.
do u have one guage for the oil pressure for the turbo and one for the engine oil pressure?
if so are u just running one before the oil resistor for the turbo and one after?

i'd like to see some pix of how u ran your oil lines too. thx.

 

I run an oil cooler loop and a GT28R
I have a line that runs from the block to a remote filter, the pressure sensor is mounted at the exit of the filter, it then goes through the cooler grid, then up the return line, the turbo line is plumbed half way between the cooler and the engine block in the return line. I don't see the point in a before/after turbo for pressure because the turbo is drawing off so little oil (a .035 restrictor vs a -10 line) its not going to have any major effect on the pressure.

 

the reason i was thinking two gauges is because the turbo oil pressure is going to be awhole lot different than the engine oil pressure. i'd just like to monitor both of them.
