OBD1 Conversion, wiring in 4 wire oxygen sensor
Ok so I am trying to finish my OBD1 swap and ran into a problem.
My old oxygen sensor had one wire of course, blue.
My new has 2 black, 1 green, and 1 white.
My OBD1 conversion harness only has two wires. Blue and White
It says Blue from conversion harness goes to black (which black, there are two blacks on the o2 sensor?)
And white goes to white, so thats easy.
Then there is the green left, what does the green go to?
What about the blue from the original harness?
What are the differences in the blacks? How do I tell them apart?
Thanks!

umm yea it does, it has the connector for the 4-wire 02 sensor. it connects to your conversion harness wires.

Wow the instructions I looked up in the archives were wrong then. Glad I posted that before I went out and bought a new O2.
The ones in the archives said 1 black and 1 green go to a ground. White went to the white on my conversion harness or the original wire from the 1 wire o2. And the other black went to the blue wire on my conversion harness.
So they had it as black + green together and on ground.
Other black ran to blue (which I assumed is +)
The white went to the white or original signal (I assumed is +)

Ok so your instructions confused me.
My Conversion harness has a blue wire and a white wire. It says blue goes to black and white goes to white.
So your saying the blue and white wires are grounds? So I need to run a + to the two blacks???

ok... dont look at the conversion harness side in terms of colors....
your 4 wire o2 has
black - one of them go to the wire on your harness that says power
black-one of them go to the 02 heater wire
green -that goes to the wire that says ground
white that goes to the wire that says signal

droppedcrxsi was right.
Green=ground
1 Black=positve switched (red wire on conversion harness)
1 Black=heater (blue wire on conversion harness)
White=signal (original 1 wire O2 wire or white wire on harness)
