Axles breaking
Alright, I've got a b16 in my 90 hatch. Originally with the swap, I used the axles that hmotors sent me. Then I started noticing something moving around at the right front area of the car, kind of a jiggling if I hit a bump or took it out of gear. I also noticed that if I hit any type of bump on the right side, it hit really hard and made a loud knock. Shortly after, I noticed that when I put the car into gear there was a slight lag before I actually got power to the wheels.
After I replaced the axles, everything seemed fine. Now it's doing it again. What could be causing that jiggling sensation and my axles to be destroyed yet again?
Could this be a bad rack end bushing, or bad tie rod ends?

did you remove the dust ring on the inside of your hubs? if you didn't, the axles won't sit properly which is causing them to break. The dust ring is easy to get out, just use a small flat head screwdriver to get it out.
the axles you got from HMO are most likely Sir axles. Did they come with the intermediate shaft as well? When you replaced the axles, did you have them rebuilt or used them as cores? Which axles are you using now? Sounds to me like there's a fitment issue. Either too short or too long.
Strictlyimport is right about the dust rings! It happened to me as well. The dust ring is press fitted into the back of the hub, but might come off, or fall off, with the axle. Use 90-91 LS axles and you'll be fine.

Like I have stated in a previous post, did you remove the dust ring? If you didn't, that is why your axles are breaking and moving around. I just did this swap 2 weeks ago and have no problems what so ever with my axles. Did you put them on the right side? I'm not saying your dumb or anything, but there is only a little difference in the size.
If you haven't popped out the dust rings, do so or you will be buying axles quite often.

like he says, make sure you use the right intermediate shaft with those axles. What intermediate shaft are you using? if you dont know the code, and it came with your engine and tranny, what tranny are you using?
