WTF......I'm no mechanic, but something is wrong with this picture...:(
Ew... what an oily mess!
First thing I see is you are missing the flywheel inspection cover.
Next is all the oil and gunk. I would clean that off, watch it to find the leaks, and replace gaskets accordingly until the bottom of the motor is clean.
But yeah, first thing you should do is put the flywheel cover back on there, you don't want any rocks getting in there and messing up your clutch.

exactly....I was worried about the rocks and debis getting up in there. I didn't take it off fyi, I just noticed this today. I need to get a cover.
Also its not actually dripping oil. I've had it parked there for 2 days and theres no oil spots on the ground. Regardless, the gaskets need to be replaced....

I've most likely got one or two sitting around my garage.
If you don't find one by tonight, PM me and I'll check for you.

this is juast an opinior so plz dont flame.
why is the cover so neccesary? it has been a pain for me to install and or take out in the past, so I hve started just leaving it off. If something gets in there (as little chance there is?) it would hvae to go in and UP to do any real damage, otherwise if the car is idling/going somepalce, it will get spun out, but if the cover is on and something gets inside the cover it will bounce around and do just as much damage.
On my alst swap, I left the cover off for good. It was driving for around 10k and absolutley no harm came to my cluth or tranny.
So why is this cover so important? I know what its for, but I wanna know what other peoples opinions of this idea are?
