tsudo catback installation
im seriously thinking about getting the tsudo greddy style catback exhaust system off ebay for $220 shipped but i'm a little unsure if there's going to be any fitting problems. btw the only performance mod i have is a CAI, everything else stock in the engine. the site says the piping is 2.5inches. so my questions is that.. is there going to be a problem fitting that at all into my '92 gs teg? or is it as simple as jus placin the order rite now cuz it says it fits all 90-93 tegs and takin it to the mechanic to get it hooked up? thanks.
alrite so the fitting is suppsoed to fit den..
also lets say i decide to get cheap header off ebay and decide to self install it myself after my exhaust is installed.. is there some chance that even though it states its a header for my car year... there could problems where the line up of the catback n header dun match up ? thx again

Usually the header flange matches the cat..But thats not where the problem is most of the time,,most times its the gap between the cat and the rest of the exhaust system ,,or gap between the cat/exhaust and the header..And if that happens simply get an extension tube .

I bought an Ebay header, catback system, and hi-flow cat. converter for my '96 RS. For some reason the header came 2.75" outlet and the other stuff is 2.5" like it should be. When I called to return it, they basically said it was not going to happen. But I still hoped for the best. Took the cat. converter and header to a guy, after I did some work, and he got it to fit. I go to set it up and there is still a .5" gap that if you force it to come together, it just presses up against the shift column and makes 1st-2nd rough. And in the end I still need to get a stock cat. converter to pass inspection, so I need to also get a new header. The verdict: you get what you pay for.

when i got the cat-back system for my 94 LS, i dint have any fittment problems, everything was perfect on it. it was a nice exhaust too, nice deep tone, but a rice can...
I had that catback on my 93 LS. Fitment's good besides needing to weld an extension on cause it doesn't reachthe cat perfectly. I took it off my car cause I got an RSR ex-mag. CivicRacer17 on here just put that on his93 LS, and we just put a CAI and the both of them together sounds real nice.

i got a tsudo fireball catback last summer and i measured the piping..it's 2.25. thats the fireball style tho. the n1 style SHOULD have 2.50. mine sounds great with the silenser on. i have a '95 Ls. i can put a pic up if u want me to, i got a pic of the piping too. i like the angle on it.
but if i were you don't go tsudo. it's a generic brand for $220(pretty cheap). get a real brand or sumthing can find on ebay for about $300. if u r on budget then sure get it.
i regret getting mine cuz didn't check ebay. i got mine for $300. then later i found skunk2 n1 for almost $400.

Dang, its a good thing i found this thread. I thought i was the only one with this problem. I bought my exhaust about a year ago and i had about a 4 inch gap between cat and exhaust. I thought i got ripped off but now i see that everyone's had this problem.
To answer one of your questions, I took mine to the shop to get a pipe welded on it to make it fit and it ran me about $70. Ripped off again but i haven't had a problem since and it sounds amazing to me. It isn't too ricey and gives it a nice rumble.
If i could go back i would save my money for an R&D Thermal exhaust but for the time being and the cost of this exhaust i am pleased with it. good luck
(p.s. - i am lowered about 1.5" and i have no problem clearing bumps with the muffler sitting that low)

I had it. Sounded good i guess. Definitely quiet. and its not a 2.5 inch like they say(a good thing). its
2 1/4. I am only lowered 1.5 and i scraped on alot going down the road. i had 2 people in my back seat and every little bump it would scrape. it fit good. But i think they are short because the 90-91 integra exhaust is shorter, so i guess they made it only for the 90-91 and tsudo is to stupid to realize that the other 2 years have a different exhaust.
