i just finnished connecting the turbo in my crx and everything seemed great untill i punched it and mid way through second gear every time or when ever the boost fully kicks in, the engine light turns on and theres a noticable power loss and the engine stalls at idle. but when u turn off the key and turn it back on everythings ok till the boost kicks in again. its like something trips out the computer when it sences boost. what can this problem be? it would be great if someone can help me.

Get some vacuum hose, some t-fittings and check valves (the same ones in fishtanks) ..Basically what you're doing is tricking the ecu ..I forget the technical writeup but this is what everyone did back in the day..Now you dont have to do because of all the ecu modications availabe..

Thats fine when the ecu is chipped to see boost..But if using (for example) fmu and inline high flow fuel pump as the only managment then you have to use this check valve setup or missing link or blah, blah or else the ecu will throw a code in boost..

Right right... I assumed his ECU was chipped. My bad. In that case I agree that the map is the cause of your problems.

i put the check valve system on and it works fine at 5psi but when i up the psi to 10, the engine starts sputterin at mid rpm in 3rd and the engine light comes back on.

OK,,you cant just raise the boost from 5 to 10 and expect it to run perfect..What fuel management are you running? If its an fmu/inline pump setup then you should not go more then 5-6psi..

Get rid of the fmu setup..Get a chipped ecu, bigger injectors and bigger intank fuel pump and have it tuned at 10psi and you'll be fine..With how it is now with the fmu its not really ment to go past 5-6psi with most fmus..You go past that and the fuel pressure is way to high..It will flood your engine with fuel and possibly damage the stock fuel injectors..

450cc injectors from a dsm and a walbro 190 fuel pump will support over 300whp..chipped ecus are everywhere,,Not really sure what ecu you have right now but maybe just chip that and have a custom chip burnt for your setup via street tune..Check out http://xenocron.com and http://pgmfi.org for info on chipped ecus

and the 450 cc injectors from a dsm ( an eclipse ?) and a fuel pump is all i would need with a computer?

Mr Speaker is correct listen to him! As soon as your car sees boost it will go into limp mode. You need check valves to trick it
I have check valves you can use that I used to use. I can sell it pretty cheap, 3 for 10 bucks shipped if you want, let me know. They worked great, they are from a older Honda Accord. The fish store version got stuck on me all the time.
Oh yeah dont boost 10lbs without proper fuel management, you engine will blow in a matter of days!
