Default NOOBQuestion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long day, simple qeustion, no smart *** comments; PLEASE!!
Whats the VTEC engagement point on a B18C1 (stock) & what's the recomended engagement point?
And if anybody knows how to alter the manifold switch over RPM I would appreciate it.
And is it true that these engines run excessively lean on the top end?

I don't remember the engagement points off the top of my head, and I'm to tired to search for you. Vtec engages 3 times If I remember correctly (someone correct me if I'm worng)

Recommended enguagement point? Well that would probably be the stock ones. Honda picked those points for a reason. *unless you did some motor work and you lower/rise it for tunning wise.

How to change the engagement points? Vtec controller.

VTEC in a GSR hits at 4400 rpm and IAB's open up at 5700. the VTEC is exactly where it should be right now as of stock unless you upgrade your manifold or cams then you're gonna have to change the X over point

Yes all honda's for the most part run lean. I think Stoich is about 14.7:1 and I'm pretty sure most integras are 15:1 or higher.

There's three VTEC crossovers?!?! Wow you have the uber VTEC. Mine crosses over just once at 5700rpm.
