I think I may have a bad Differential but I am not 100% sure. The tranny is a 2000 b16a2 with 45k on it.

From a stop and driving through 1-3k I hear a loud POP from the transmission. After that I hear no problems. While driving I have no problems. The car shifts fine into all gears. I jacked up the car and spun both wheels, the opposite wheel does not budge. However it does make this loud clicking noise which I have recorded below:

I just changed the transmission fluid, and I did not notice anything unusual. I always use GM syncromesh.

did it NOT make the noise before? The clicking you hear is very common with aftermarket lsd's.

 

I dont have a LSD

 

then you might have a bad cv joint in your axle

 

ya, does sound like an axle problem
