I have the Omni Power quick release, and the horn button for the wheel i bought, as you can see in the pics, the quick release doesn't have enough recess to allow the horn button in. Is there a thick spacer that is supposed to go between the QR and the wheel? Thanks for your help.

No, not for the quick release. The hub did.

 

i went to the hardware store and used some washers inbetween the steering wheel and the horn button. where the allen head bolts go

steering wheel, washer(s), horn button, allen head bolt.

that worked for my quick release and knock off momo-bride steering wheel thing. i need a new quickrelease, since mine has some play in it now.

 

Ok, so someone helped me in the road race forum. That ring in the outer center of the QR is apparently removable and is for MOMO style horn buttons. For other horn buttons, it comes out for clearance.
