CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON (2000 EX)
My check engine light first came on about 2 weeks ago, took it in and had the codes reset and it went away. came back on this weekend and took it back in for service, was told it was the oxygen sensor so they replaced it. light came on again..was told they replaced the wrong oxygen sensor so they replaced the other one. car was fine on way to work today, light came back on during drive home. anyone have any clue whats going on here??? i guess it might be easier if i knew which code they were getting.
does the light come on after you fill-up? if so, you could be not tightening the gas cap enough.

well, i do think i've been tightening it well. i was informed of this so when i got home tonight i did unscrew and re-tighten the gas cap to make sure. when i opened it i heard a fair amount of air pressure released? is that normal? i probably sound like an idiot but I rarely pay attention to this kind of stuff. i wish i knew exactly how to do jump the terminal explained in that link so i can find out the code myself. apparently it has to be one of the codes involving an O2 sensor
Take it to a parts store that will pull the codes for free. Or check your recipt and post the codes on here it will be "P____" like P1456.

Ok just found the receipts..from the first trip the code listed is P1149 on this latest receipt it does not list a code but i guess thats the same deal
Honda has a service bulliten out for this problem. You need to replace your ECM (engine control module). The O2 sensors were probably ok. You current computer is setting false codes.
