Default After adjusting valves

After you adjust valves are they still supposed to tick. I'm just wondering because i adjusted mine like 1000 miles ago or so. And i had slight misfire tonight when i was driving and im trying to find some stuff that could be wrong. I'm going to pull plugs tomorrow that could be problem being that my o2 sensor is bad i'm probably runnin rich but its been bad for the whole 1000 so i dont think fouled out plugs could be it. Anyways back to my question are valves supposed to tick always or not? This is a z6 on a6 if it matters. TIA

They shouldn't tick. But almost every honda I have ever heard does. I would change the plugs and the o2 sensor. Fix the problems that you know are wrong. It will make it easier to trouble shoot, problems later.

No need to redo them. You should be fine, that's right in the middle of the range.

I do mine just a little tight. Meaning, .007 and .009, and tight enough so I can barely slide the feeler through without it getting stuck.

But, as long as you are within the range, you should be fine.
