I've searched for this and couldnt find an answer.

Is it possible to install the rear tranny mount with the engine in the car?
This is for a 95 Civic with D16Z6. Just want to make sure before I try it tomorrow.

hmmm i think it will be a bitch to do. just remove the tranny and you should be fine.

 

you can do it. you just have to work it. i changed mine when i had to put in my motor mount inserts

 

I'm not going to remove the tranny for it....

You should be able to do it, just jack up the engine to take the load off. use a piece of wood or something between the jack and the oilpan. the motor has 4 other contact points so it should stay put
