Car shakes when acclerating on 4th and 5th gear.

Is it a bad axle?

 

most likely yes it is. ack you car up and see if your axle looks fine. mine did the same. it did it in 4th and 5th gear

 

Well, my brother went under the car and found no cracks to the boots. Should I tell my brother to look for something else?

 

it wont always be a rip in the boot. i thought the same thing till i replaced my axle. it fixed the shaking problem right away

It could also be your wheel bearings.

No, clutch isn't going out. I'm pretty sure a bad clutch doesn't produce vibration. A bad clutch will sqeal though.
