ok so thanks for the advice on the lip i got a OEM si lip for my crx now

im gonnna be getting my rex painted white again soon, and i dont know if i should keep the moldings white or paint them black???

this is my car...keep in mind this was winter, and now it has flat black rota slips, and no tint.

 

I would say paint the moldings black for a little contrast. It does look okay all white.

 

Black strips on the bumpers and sides, along with the top trim of the door above the window.

 

DEFINITELY Black moldings. Always keep the moldings black. Unless u have the WW/Mugen kit...then there really isnt moldings haha.

it looks ok all white but i prefer black moldings

Black... My trim was all red (except the side rocker panels), I painted it all with a some satin black trim paint (sanded it, primed it, and painted it), looks 10x better... It adds a kind of depth to the car... Hard to explain... But it definately looks better like that...

 

definetly make it black as it came from the factory, including the bumpers and rocker panels

 

put the mirrors back to black,too

also, is that an aftermarket moonroof ?

Or did you change the SI panel to a moonroof ?

 

Paint the trim black,same with the trim around the corner lens

I have a white with all the correct trim black.

I have often thought about painting it white.

Your's doesn't make me want to paint it.

I don't know why either.

Maybe it is all the snow in the backround.

Maybe it is the way your wheels almost look white too.

I've seen monochrome CRXs on the net before and I really liked them.

Last night I was practically wacking off to Stan and Ben's EF8s from the Password site.

They are both monochrome grey and they are frickin hot.

Their cars have black rims and CRX hoods, maybe that's why they look good.

Maybe someone here can photoshop your pic.

Once you figure it out, let me know, my Rex's paint job may be getting an update soon.

 

In my opinion it looks alot better black..But if you do decide to color match the moldings/trim do it right..I see people do it all the time and 2 weeks after the paint job its all flaking off on the moldings and trim..

 

Not meaning to thread jack, but what's the best way to paint the moldings to look the closest to factory?

check out this guy's car. I don't know if I like it either. His trim looks gloss black.

I'm thinking about all white with the lower trim and lower bumpers black.

 

i think im going to do a champ white, with a flat black trim leaving the rocker panels white.

someone said something about the corner lenses...those arnt even on there anymore lol that pic was months ago.

can anyone photoshop that with black rotas and black trim, and black trim with rocker panels?

and to the guy who thinks its to much white... i agree that why i want to change but on the other hand its already white and easy to do
