Default steering problem

hey guys...
when the car is not moving and i turn my steering wheel to the right the steering wheel turns but the wheel does not move, i can hear a loud noise that sounds like its jumping splines in the assembly. i can turn to the left no problem... the only way i can go right is if the car is in motion...
basically when i turn left everything is normal...when i turn right i can keep turning the steering wheel forever but the rims dont turn to the right... if i lock the steering wheel it locks correctly

can anyone determine the cause of this problem? at first i thought it was my aftermarket hub but i examined it and turned the car while i saw the hub splines and it was not from that...

im thinking it is either the splines from the steering column or the splines on the steering rack... is there a way to determine which it is? thanks!

edit: the noise i hear is a loud thumping noise that only happens when i turn to the right and it is not continuous unless i keep turning

simple fix, you need to tighten the three large bolts for your steering rack, they are loose.
I've had them get loose on two of my cars probably because of the slicks and Azenis I used for daily driving

expletive that get a quaife steering rack

sounds like some stripped gears if those loose bolts arent the case.
