Default Intake/Hood Fitment

I am looking into a J's Air Duct for the stock airbox. I know with most Intakes and or Air ducts you must modify your stock hood. I supsect you need to cut the skeleton of the underside of the hood? Can some one post a pic otheir modified hood? I just want to see what was done...thanks

If you run the standard J's intake snorkel, you don't need to cut your hood. If you run tumored chamber intake, you'll have to cut your hood. I'll see if I can dig up a pic of my hood.

Sorry for the delay in sending the picture, I've misplaced my OEM hood, yes, the giant yellow bugger has gone missing.

I'd rather run a filter on a stick (K&N or AEM)
