6th Gen Interior Trims
As I'm looking through used vehicle ads, specifically 01 and 02 Accord coupes, I'm only seeing the bland gray interiors. I'd like to have the two-tone interior like my old coupe.

Was there a pattern of interior colors related to DX, LX, SE, EX??

I know what you mean. I like the two tone schemes better too. When I was shopping for 92 Accords they had a nice shinny red one. But when I got inside. Everything was bright red. The dash, seats, console, headliner, everything. So I wound up getting the Rosewood Brown, because at least the headliner was a different color (tan), and the seats were a maroon color (not so bright). You may have to get a certain color to get the two tone interior. If you could find an old brochure for those years it would have all the color combinations. I would say try a search, but it may be a waste of time.
Everything was based on exterior color.
I don't believe their was ever a half black and half tan, unless you are referring to the radio trim and gauge cluster trim, in which case they were either black or wood trim.
Tan interiors were two-toned, using tan and a medium to light brown. Gray interiors were two-toned as well, using a light gray and a dark gray.
The color combo in the picture is very, very rare. That was your car, right? What year? The later years never came like that (at least not at my dealership), and I've never seen a black steering wheel and column in a 6th gen. (Although it's quite possible I've just forgotten...)

That looks like stock carpet... and that's about it.
Aftermarket:
seats
steering wheel
gauges (both extra gauges, plus different color in the dash)
metal floor plate
radio (video monitor!)
shift ****
the emblem on the glove box
It looks like the parking brake is stock too.

So... It's going to be 10x as hard finding the tan two-toned interior like I had? I really really realllly don't care for the two-toned gray.
I want a neutral color exterior - either silver, black, or possibly blue - but prefferably the black currant that I had. Seems like every 01-02 EX I've found has the gray interior though.
The tan interior with gray tone on the dash like in the picture is what I'm referring to.
Yes that is mine. It was a '99 LX.
Yes the seats, gauges, floor mats, xbox, screen, shift ****, glove box emblem, and radio were all done by myself, though the radio mount is just a factory piece that I modified.

Tan interiors were hard to come by in coupes. On sedans however, they're everywhere.
The fact that you had a black car with a tan interior is truly rare. From what I remember, starting in 2000 black coupes were only offered with charcoal interiors. Unfortunately, the tan interior was only available on coupes with blue and white exteriors.
Oh, and it appears I have just forgotten, and it was in the coupes that you could find the black steering wheel and column.
BTW, the black that you had was replaced (in either '00 or '01) with Nighthawk Black Pearl.

Actually, the color combination I had was even more rare since it was Black Currant, not the Starlight Black you were speaking of on '98 and '99 models.
Old picture I have after a great wash and wax.

Oooohhhh, I see now... All this time I thought your car was just... black. I never did know that particular color was called Black Currant. My time at the dealership started half way through the '00 model year, so I wasn't completely familiar with '98-'99 colors.
