LOL, I have been waiting over a month from my local dealer to get my order in of the 1pc coilovers (non-dampening) at his place. Anyone from omni/and or dealers with the info, are they done? Are all of theorders from a month ago completed and shipped yet? I cant wait to use your product!

I just talked with a guy at Import Auto Performance (www.iapdirect.com) and they just shipped out their first batch of the Gen 3s on 4/11. I pre-ordered some Streets as they said they should be receiving another shipment soon (ETA of 4/17). Check them out at the sponsors forum. Very friendly and knowledgable people.

some info.

Just released, Omni-Power Tilyte full coil overs with speed sensitive reactive damping. In development for over 1 year, our new Tilyte mono tube coil over is a combination of the most advanced materials and fluids to provide unsurpassed ride quality, longevity and razor sharp cornering response. Each Tilyte coil over incorporates a newly designed Omnipower piston which reacts to the slightest movement. We use an exotic SAE specially heat treated spring steel for our shim stacks that has up to 35% + higher fatigue resistance than competitors shims. Cycle testing was done to provide the most consistent performance over the longest possible life span. The new Omni-Power Tilyte coil over design is able to perform with in 2% of new after 400,000 cycles. We tested several different shock oils and found that Fina was able to provide the most stable oil viscosity and least amount of damping loss at maximum operating temperature. A new seal design ensures a leak free shock even under the most extreme conditions and years of abuse. The re-engineered damping provides an ultra smooth ride and instantly adjusts to any road surface condition.
Cycle testing and road testing were done during the R&D process in order to ensure maximum life and consistant performance . The guide lines Omnipower uses for cycle testing are as follows:
Cycle stroke: 50mm
Cycle speed: 300mm/sec
Cycle duration: 400,000 cycles
1 Cycle= 50mm up and 50mm down or 100mm of movement.

In order to provide the best possible consistency, we build smaller production runs and randomly select a few shocks from each. Randomly selected shocks are dyno tested and compared to a master curve for their part number before the production run is released for sale.

Street full coilovers:
Front 10kg/mm spring rate (560 Lbs/inch)
Rear 8kg/mm spring rate (448 Lbs/inch)
Ideal for daily driving or street strip use. Provides a smooth responsive ride with greatly improved cornering control and feel. Spring rates can be switched from front to rear. Independent track testing by professional race car drivers has shown over 2+ seconds a lap faster times over stock and other entry level suspensions.

Sport full coil overs:
Front 12kg/mm spring rate (670 Lbs/inch)
Rear 10kg/mm spring rate (560 Lbs/inch)
Increased Spring rates and more aggressively valved shocks provide a street able ride with race track bread performance. Track tuned, our sport suspension offers true race car handing performance and feel. Yet still suitable for road use.

Are they still going to be the same price? B/c I was going to go with skunk 2 b/c of all the bad stories i've been hearing about them omnipowers, but since the new ones will be so different, I'd use them, especially b/c they're usually cheaper...

I believe so. Here is the thread I got the info from:

I don't vouch for ImportAutoPerformance.com. I've never dealt with them in any way. Just passing the link along.
