There are so many threads that discuss which oil to use.
I use castrol because I liked it in my mustang.
Just do yourself a favor and stay away from recycled oil.

Pennzoil 10w30 in the summer. The detergents rock.

10w30 Valvoline Maxlife nonsynthetic, change it when it needs changed - between 4000 and 5000 miles - 265,000 miles and running stronger than ever.
Some people don't realize that they own Civics and don't need to run $40 worth of oil through their crankcase between changes. So Mobil1 full synthetic is "the best" oil you can get. So what? Using it in a D or B-series engine is like getting the expensive diapers for your kid: they're both gunna get **** in em, might as well buy the cheaper ones because you'll never notice a difference.

Castrol GTX high-mileage (or Royal Purple depending on what I am doing with the car
)
Changed every 3-5k miles depending on how lazy I am. By the way, I have always just taken the crush washer off, popped it back with the two ends offset, and crimped it a little like it came to begin with and I have never had a problem...some food for thought.

NAPA 10w30.
Car burns oil like a mother ****** and it's just a honda. I change the oil when it needs to be changed and I change the filter every other change.
I'm going to try some of that **** from Wal-Mart, I think it's called "No Smoke".
