just as it says, i have the code but it doesnt want to work. It is the correct code. is there something im missing?

 

Might have a wrong code. Tell you what. Take your stereo unit out. Call the dealer, tell him whats going on and give them the stereo number. They keep all the info and will help you out for no charge. If its already locked, (which usually happens after maybe 3-4 tries) disconnect the radio from the harness, it will reset the anti-theft system (I think disconnecting the battery might work too). Then try your code again.

 

If it were locked would it say it was? Right now it flashes CODE. And i have had this problem before, and so i wrote the code inside the fuse box cover. I know i have that right, it just doesnt want to work.

 

You don't have the right code. Do you have the sticker inside of the fusebox with a series of letters and numbers or 6 numbers?
If it's not accepting the code and your 110% sure it's the right code then the audio unit has gone bad.
