Default problems after timing belt change

i changed the timing belt on my sisters CRV, since then theres been problems. First she said it owuldnt start right away, now it tends to stall when its cold. The best thing i could think of is the crank position sensro. I did mess with it, removed it and reinstalled it, and i disconected hte plug and reconected it. Would this cause the stalling? Does the ECU look at thecrank sensro after sarting? I thought this sensor was only for initial startup and then the dizzy takes over, i oculd be wrong. Does this sound reasonable? Any other sugestions? Would a leaking water puimp cause this? Water acumulating on the botom of the cover while the car sits at night? please help meout, im gonna tear it down again tomorow.

check the timing marks too. you could be a tooth off at one of them. did you use a new water pump? how does it idle?

You know what I did. I was just thinking about this today. If theres an air buble would the IAT or the ICV cause it to stall? It runs perfect when its warm. HEr husband says it runs great, if the timing belt sliped i think hed notice the diference. And it only stalls out when its cold. So im thinking its an idle air problem. This would make more of a diference on an automiatic car (which it is) cause you couldnt gas/clutch it. HOpefuly it just needs a coolant flush. Any thought on this?

I called her husband and told him to check the idle tomorow morning. It shu\ould be at atleast 1200 right? Maybe even 1300-1400? If its below one thousand im flushing the coolant.

I have no idea what "vtak" fluid is but the condenser has nothing to do with it.
Vtec fluid is engine oil, and doesn't flow anywhere near the condenser or radiator...</TD></TR></TABLE>
