Default Skunk2 LCA's

I was thinking about replacing my stock rear LCA's on my 99 hatch with Skunk2 LCA's. Does anyone have them on there car? I know that Skunk2 is a good company to go with for certain suspension parts, so I was wondering if this was one of them.

Anyone? Hasn't anyone put on aftermarket (preferably Skunk2) lower control arms on their civic?

lots of people have... it usually isnt considered anything of a performance mod though, just looks. other than the weight savings of a couple pounds, they dont really serve any benefit.
*edit* unless of course you opt for function7 lca's, they have multiple endlink attachment points to alter swaybar geometry to stiffen/soften a little, and due to their truss design are supposedly more aerodynamic.

i can definately vouch for SPC. the're really light weight and also have the factory retaining hole for a sway bar. also they're slightly shorter bolt pattern makes it were you don't really need a rear camber kit.

if an LCA has a sway bar mounted to it, it's not a truss.

you see what i mean zigzaggy-hollow, i was going to call it a trellised design in the first post but thought that sounded to much like it had vines growing on it

Shorter than stock LCAs are not really a good idea. They narrow your track width, and pull your trailing arm bushings toward the center of the car. This will cause excess wear on the TA bushing, toe out, and will also mess up the rear ends dynamic bump-steer (Honda designs the rear wheels to steer based upon lateral loading & bump/droop position)...

The skunk2 lca still uses a vulcanized bushing and costs almost the same as Function7. But, Function7 comes with replaceable ES urethane bushings. In less than a year, I have killed the vulcanized bushings on my Omni's. Function7 definately seems like they are worth the $$$.
