I just called NOS, and had a short but sweet conversation. I aksed about the Plate kit for the Prelude, and asked about ordering it, he told me to call back next week, and that they want to have all their ducks lined up, but I should be able to order it by next week. If anyone else wants to give them a call, go for it, lets just hope you get a similar response. This is great news as long as it holds true. Usually they tell me to call next month, but next week sounds real good, and he told me I should be able to order it to, so I am going to pray this is all legit. I could have my kit within a month if everything goes well. If not, the new nozzle kit may have to do.

 

If someone gets a chance,call NOS and ask about the plate kit for the Prelude. I ask because I want to see if they tell you the same thing they did me, cause if someone were to call and they tell you that its not done and wont be for a few months, I am giving up on the kit.

 

I'm gonig to kick myself if this is true.

auto-gs-king, let us know what they tell you, hopefully its the same thing they told me, or even better, its done and ready to order, thats what I really want to hear.

 

Does anyone have any comments on the NOSzle kits they have now? It sounds like clearance and fitment is an issue....

Just got anther reply from NOS, good news for sure. Read on....

Because this kit is so "new", it is not in the system just yet, the best thing to do would be to call us directly or have your local dealer call us to place the order. The kit part number and bill of materials won't be in the system for a while (at least until the Instructions are modified to include the 2.2L). If anyone would like to get a kit before the official release, just call us and we should be able to ship the kit with the standard instructions (the Prelude is actually easier to install) as soon as the plates are finished.

I am gonna order very soon.

Anyone post pics of this plate kit? Does this kit spray the fuel in premixed with nitrous, or do they both atomize in the intake runners or whaaaat?

 

The fuel and nitrous atomize inside of the intake manifold, when they leave the plate kit. I have a sticky thread posted in the nitrous forum on preludeonline.com concerning this topic.
