Back seat removal
Hello,
My stepson owns a '96 GS-R and needs to be able to remove the back seats to get to the back speakers. He can't seem to figure out how to remove them. If anyone could point him in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

The tops of the seats on the outside (nearest the black plastic panel you are trying to remove) has a sorta slide like clip to remove the seat backs. Once you get one side out, the other almost falls out. Then you can pull the plastic, no need to remove the seat bottom, but IIRC you can pull that whole plastic piece without pulling the seat backs.
There is a clip on each seat, right on the "hinge" that needs to be removed. It is like a big plastic "C" clip that you can pull out with pliers. Once you do that, just slide the seat to the side and one side will release, then reverse the process and the other side will pop out.
