Can I use an Integra Brake booster & MC??
I have a 1995 Integra Brake booster and Master Cylinder. Can I use this on my 91 CRX Si? The booster and MC are from a ABS system, does this matter
Yes you can you use the Integra booster and mc together and it will go right into your car. I have one in my car, and so do several of my buddies. You will need to change one fitting on the hard line that attaches to the back of the MC. That is also very easy to do. You cannot mix ABS and non ABS equipment.
You can use a 95 Teg unit but a 90-93 Teg unit would be easier. That's what I used on mine. When using a DC unit the one line (rear?) gets bent from the driver's side to the passenger side. Bending it is a good way to kink the line and make a whole new nightmare begin. The finished product looks hacked to me. When using a DA, the brake lines don't need rebent from one side to the other just a tiny tweak.
Also, I used a ABS master+booster. It is 1inch like the HypeR. You can either flare on the bigger fitting from the ABS car or use an adaptor like I did. You can get the adaptor at a hydraulics shop. The shop I went to didn't have the exact fitting I needed so I got one that was close and cut a new flare on it with my lathe. It is a thing of beauty now. If I ever get into racing I may swap it back to a 15/16" so I get more pedal feel and because of my adaptor it will be a snap.
.
Wait till you crawl under the dash to put your booster it. HAHA it is such a bitch it will drive you insane! I nearly threw my wrachet through my windshield I was so pissed.

My reply says don't mix. Either will work. Use the ABS one it will be just fine it functions no differently than any other one. The ABS one is a 290V, Non ABS 260V, then it goes Civic 230V, and 205V. They higher the vacuum in our cars the less pedals movement needed.

Oh try putting it on a dual point equiped car and have to drop 3 of the 4 mounts to get it in. PITA!!!!
