Default Greddy exhaust falling apart

I have a greddy evo exhaust on my 98 ex. i was recently looking into the muffler section and realized that it is falling apart. Is this greddy quality. I will snap some pics when i get home. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or how i could fix it

I was having the same problem with mine. I don't think there is anything that you can do besides getting a new muffler.

I have the same exhaust on my ride, the pipe got all rusty after about 2 years and broke COMPLETELY apart right where the pipe comes out of the resonator. Ended up cutting the res. off and replacing it with straight pipe and welding it on. then again, mine isn't stainless steel, just metal.

Worthless POS exhaust. Plus it has the biggest can I've ever seen.

looks ugly :/
wouldn't expect that from "hi-quality products" - maybe you should just tell'em what's wrong, write a little complaint and see whether they respond or not ?!?

Same BS happened to mine last year. I wouldn't expect this to happen to a $450 exhaust. no more waisting money on Greddy when a custom muffler shop can make you as just as nice or even better muffle for 1/2 the price. Peace

Where did you buy it? If it wasn't from a greddy dealer it could be a fake...I remember a big stink about that some time ago...

No i think it was stated on greddy's site or somewhere that say that stuff that guy was selling was fake. The price is pretty obvious too. Im not out to bag on ebay or anything since ive bought a few things from there, most of which was genuine.

Either way, I'd contact GReddy about that problem and see if you can get a new one

I had a Greddy SP2 and the interior piping within the can broke away at the welds. Crappy.... I've heard it has happened plenty with Greddy Wouldn't expect it from a high quality product.
