Default header question

I bought...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...73409

it has no hanger attatchment for the bottom pipe (2 to 1 pipe)
is this correct?
or should I take it to a shop to weld hangers on?

otherwise the entire pipe from the head to midway down the car will have no support other than the manifold studs.

what should I do?

also
the mate from the end of the header to the cat has different size bolt holes and I cannot use the old spring bolts. the kit has plain bolts.
it mates well but should I be worried ?

thanks guys

Not sure how much you expected for $24.

A header SHOULD be supported, but you will probably be fine without it. More than likely, by welding on a hanger support, you are probably just making another link for that header to rust.

I would re-use the spring bolts. If the holes are not large enough -make them. If they are too large, use a washer.

You really don't need a support bracket. Your stock exhaust support will keep it up. Also, if the bolts don't fit you could drill the holes out to a larger diameter so they do fit, or you could get smaller bolts at a hardware store. Stainless steel with locking washers will do the trick.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by crxtreme89h &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">You really don't need a support bracket. Your stock exhaust support will keep it up. </TD></TR></TABLE>

it is not stock exhaust
it has no connection for a support
