Default if you're lowered at all... read me

i noticed at first when i had my H&R race springs on stock struts i would feel every crack, bump, pothole... on the road.

here's my issue: now, i'm running H&R race springs w/ KONI yellows and it still feels the same way? it handles hell of alot better but when i drive on rough roads, i'm still getting that loud *** clunk. i took off the top of my del sol just to see if it was that but i was wrong. why is my suspension making this noise?

i searched... and i read "trailing arm bushings" all my bushings from upper to lower control arm are good. trailing arms, UCA, LCA... none ripped.

i also read that alot of people are experience this noise/feel when they're lower than 2 inches. any suggestions or am i completely normal?

Which end of the car is it coming from? 9/10 loud sounds on compression= your front UCA's hitting the shock tower. No way around it if you're super low, and it can mess up your UCA's to the point that the balljoint gets knocked out. Gotta pay to lay low.

yeah my cars hitting the top of my shock tower and i took a look and the ball joint is about to come off...i'm going to weld it on so it doesnt come off...and only enough so i can grind it down to replace whenever i need too...

when i turn my yellows to full soft the clunk that you describe goes away but when its not at full soft i can feel and hear that clunk your talking about...try turning the shock to full soft if you havent done soo..

I am very low, and I get no clunks (Koni GC 400f/250r at -3")...

Perhaps it's your rear sway-bar. These tend to make some noise if something is loose...

Wish I could be of more help...
