1992 Hatchback Wheel Hub question.. **HELP**
i have a 92 hatch VX. i just changed my front rotors and pads. i noticed when i changed my tires my wheel hub shakes when my car is off the ground as if a bearing is messed up. it was never like this before. now both sides have this problem. when i drive my car it doesnt shake at all. rides fine but im just scared to drive it knowing that it seems loose. i checked my friends wheel hub and it wasnt loose like mine was. does anyone know what the problem could be? thanks.
If the front hub bearings are original, then they'll need replacing. If a bearing where to fail on you, it will leave you stranded in the middle of the road with the potential of quite a bit of damage. Best to have them replaced.

what would happen if the bearing went out on me? will it make a sound or just stop rolling?

Your wheel would seized on you. When that's happen to a few friends of mine on the racetrack, the've all ended up in a tire wall with lots of damage. The price to fix way outweights the damage they can cause.
Another solution would be to swap an entire front knuckle/brake caliper to something newer like 99 Civic SI, GSR, etc.
