wheel bearing / hub on 92 civic hb ?
I replaced both front wheel bearings and my drive side hub because the machine shop said they couldn't use the old hub. Now, I'm assuming my passenger side hug is bad because there is a bunch of noise during corners and such while driving.
Can I avoid purchasing a new wheel bearing if I replace the hub or do I need to replace both the hub and wheel bearing?

you sure your rotor isn't bad?? My Del Sol does the same after changing the wheel bearing, but it is because of my rotors being warped. My husband has to change those now.

I highly doubt my rotors are warped. I use a torque wrench for my lugnuts and there are less than 15k on my rotors.

Re: wheel bearing / hub on 92 civic hb ?
thanks for your help.
a new knuckle comes with only the lower ball joint. wheel bearing + hub will have to be purchased separately and be pressed in. buying a used knuckle is not an option as i'd want fresh wheel bearings anyway.
i'm gonna take it all apart tomorrow morning so hopefully i can figure it out. at this point, i'm thinking new hub + wheel bearing for passenger side.

Considering my bad hub has a new wheel bearing (less than 10k), can the wheel bearing be re-used after its been pressed out of the hub to reinstall into a new hub?
I'm attempting to avoid purchasing a wheel bearing since it's already new. However, the machine shop said the wheel bearing typically rips or tears out after being pressed out. shrug
