Default Need Help!!! 99 Civic HX hatchback tranny *gone*

I just recently purchased a used 1999 Civic HX hatchback as my commuter car
As of friday my transmission is complete dead and will not engage in the gear. I check and it is not a clutch issue.

I am think of getting a used tranny and want to know which option of honda d-series tranny can I use.

I saw an ad on a 92 Integra LS and GSR. Will think works?

any tranny that comes from a civic d series motor from 92-00 will work. i suggest an EX transmission, shortest gears, but if u want gas mileage, go for a DX transmission.

i have a 95vx manual, and a 95 ex manual. take your pick either is $100+shipping. the vx is still in the car, but could be swapped next day. vx has 100k and ex has 88k. one is MPG on is accelaration.
