d17a2 motor??

well while searching for a replacement on CL...i found a d17a2 for 300 but it has 10 bent valves!!! Im wondering what caused that and if i should pick up and replace valves...it only has 7,900 miles on it too...TIA

Maybe timing belt snapped..

hopefully the valves didnt do any damage to the head. better check that
