Default lowering questions

i just bought a set of dropzone coil overs.i know i need a camber kit for the front,but how low can i go in the rear before i need a set in the rear too?

there are arguments on many sides of the camebr kit issue, so research a bit before making your decision, but there are members who argue that a proper alignment, with toe set to 0.00 on all four corners will reduce what is traditionally known as camber wear significantly if not completely. that camp argues that the constant tire scrubbing caused by toe in/out is the principle cause of abnormal tire wear.
i can recall several cases where cars were lowered more than 3 inches, with no camber kits BUT a good alignment, that had no abnormal tire wear.

if you want to adjust camber in the back, the washer trick works pretty well, and its cheap/free depending on what you have laying around.

either way, whether you choose either to get or not to get camber kits, get an lignment, save your tires.

any thoughts or comments on dropzone coil overs?my homeboy had them on his eg hatch with no no probs.but i been reading bad thing about them?so i dont know wether i want to install them or just sell them.i seen one post i think it was on here about someone useing them and the sleeve busted alsmost in half.i guess that can happen if not put on correctly.

ive seen pictures where a dropzone coilover sleeve actually split and mushroomed out around the clip holding it up...

thats probably a rare case but not something I would risk
