Default Fixing Curb Rash...

Well today I was on my way home from seeing some family and I'm going through town and this old woman is sitting in the turn lane. As I come by she starts merging into my lane. Well it's either let her side swipe me or curb it. I hit the curb. I got by pretty lucky I believe...no body damage, no suspension damage or steering. Here's the wheel though...

This is the worst of it...

I was thinking about just getting a small grinder and a dremel and just trying to smooth it out as best as I could. I'm getting new wheels soon but until then I could at least try to smooth it down.

dremel with grinding bit until semi smooth, and then 600 grit sand paper and work to 800 then 1200 to 1500 and you should be fine
