Drivers side door hits fender... why???
I dunno if anyone else has this problem but this is my second DX that has done this.. i open the door and it snagged on the fender.. in effect bending it up pretty bad.. does anyone have a solution to this or know why its doin this?? thanks a lot to all of you who help me out...
When i was restoring mine, it had that also, so i had to fix the bottom hinge thing that connects the door to the body, and re adjust the whole door to shut aligned with the back door and fender. But mine was in a car wreck prior to that....
I had that happen to my hatch.
All I did was use a 20 inch prybar to pop out the part of the door thats close to the fender. It has hitting cuz my friend was leaning on the fender when we were doing my swap. Good since!!
TRY IT!!! At your own risk off course, i will not be held liable!

my 90 crx does this as well. its cause the first clip that holds the black door moulding on is broke, and it would space away from the door enough to hit the fender and push it in. have to get a new fender and door.. for now, i just pushed the fender in enough so it wont get worse.. but i plan to get rid of the mouldings later on when i paint and body kit it.

Open your hood, there should be 3 bolts that hold the fender to the body, loosen/take those out. Your fender should move forward atleast 1/2inch! Goodluck, and by the way It may not be easy, so take your time.
