Any body know if it is possible to use the factory XM antenna with Sirius? I have checked behind the head unit, and do not see the antenna hookup. Where would it be wired too?

 

If your CR-V is equipped with factory XM or acessory XM?

Factory XM Radio/Antenna. Head unit is Factory XM ready. Did not get the optional XM tuner, but has the Antenna. I want to use a Sirius add on tuner, but would like to use the XM antenna. Looks dumb with 2 on the roof.

 

I'm pretty sure that's just a dummy box. The antenna comes with the kit. But just to be sure pull down the back headliner enough to see the bottom of where the box is. If you see the wire it's there but I don't think it is.

 

Yeah you are right it is just a cover. And the connection is totally different than a sirius receiver. Might try to find a sirius antenna that will work. Thanks

 

If your lucky you may be able to use that mounting point instead of having two black boxes. Also consider painting it to match the body.
