My S2K won't start!! :(
Hey Guy's, I went to start up my car today after storing it for winter ... the car has not been started in about 2 - 3 months ... when I hit the start button it won't turn over it just makes a repeated clicking sound ... I tried charging the battery but that did not help out ... any ideas on how I can get my S going would be greatly appreciated.
it could be a number of things... did you get a new battery or a different battery? the gas is probably bad in it... and theres other's i can't think of...
hope that helps

what kind of conditions was it stored in?
battery is only thing that comes to mind. no cranking over noise just clicking...
did you disconnect anything while storing it?

Stock battery is fine unless you have electrical mods (stereo). Then get a yellowtop. Or just get a yellowtop as they look cool.
Probably not the immobilizer as if that was the case, the car will crank but just not turn over.
Have Autozone check the old battery for a bad cell, otherwise maybe it only needs a recharge.

Really good chargers go a long way in charging a battery that's completely dead. You might get away with charging the battery. Then again, a new battery is half or a third the cost of a professional charger
See if you have a friend and actually swap the battery to see if it is the battery first, you wouldn't wanna go to the shop and get a new battery but that really isn't the problem, I agree with the person that said if there isn't the cranking and the sounds then it may be electrical. Also you may wanna check your button, I've had someone go through hell trying to find out what was the problem then he finally went to the dealer they told him something was wrong with the button they just had to fix something on the other side.
