You need the complete engine and tranny. Use the F23 mounts...I mean it all of the brackets and mounts.

You need clutch pedal...shift linkage, shifter...master and slave cylinder clutch line...obd2 to obd1 harness...I would actually get the H22 harness and pull out the F23...the wiring is possible but no laughing matter. Are you doing this swap or is a shop?

The machanical work isn't bad, but the wiring will take some time. Not sure if you are going with jdm or usdm, but get a manual...you'll need the wire diagram for sure...esp for the dizzy.

Search by the way...it has been covered a million times...willl help you in the long run.

The motor he linked is obd2.

I recently purchased a JDM H22 with an lsd auto tranny from PasswordJDM for my 98 Accord for $1k less than the site you linked. Not sure how set you are on getting a 5 speed, but it would be a lot cheaper to go H22 auto and from what I have heard, the JDM H22 auto trannies are quite strong (I know... Honda + auto + strong = weird).

Either way, good luck and keep us posted

Ah. I wasn't seeing that one.

If you are going to go through the labor of swapping engines...I would take the opportunity to truely drive your car. I would strongly consider a manual swap. Get the LSD too. M2B4 tranny.

hey, I did this swap a while back, as was said previously, use all the mounts from the F23.

You will need to make modifications to the Accord harness even with a conversion harness as there are things that just don't line up the same way between the two motors. The distributer will be the most complex of your issues, I finally gave up on the wiring and sourced it out to a local shop.

Good luck, and it is well worth the effort.

did you get a new ecu with your conversion or did you use your stock one? im not sure but i think i might just be able to use the ob2 harness and not have to many problems. btw im still shopping around for a better price on the engine and tranny if anyone know a good reputiable dealer with dicent prices send me a link the cheapest one that ive found so far is 2100$.

SEARCH AND READ!!!!

You can't use the F23 [SOHC] ECU with H22 [DOHC] You need the P13 unless you are getting a stand along or a piggyback...then P28 and P72 is an option.

It;s not the harness itself that will give you the problem it's all the wiring, even with a obd2 --> OBD1 harness...there is lots of rewiring on the other end.

yes Obi Won i shall read.... i got in contact with a local shop here in ga and there giveing me some price quotes form the figures ive got so far i think i might be better off just getting a manual trasnny and hooking it up to my f23. its only gonna be like 2100$ parts and labor. they can even throw in a new center consoal for me. im not sure through the aspect of haveing a h22 just sounds sooooo nice.

I was in the same boat...planning on swapping an f23 manual into my Accord. But after thinking about it for a while, I couldn't justify not going with the H22 auto instead of an f23 manual. 50 more ponies, DOHC vtec, lsd, tons of potential! All for about a couple hundred dollars more
