Default fuel pressure regualtor questions

hi HT, i just installed a fuell pressuer regulator and i wanna make sure that i installed it right, i took a picture and plz i wanna know if its wrong or not, and how much prussure should i open

Looks good to me, and 10% of what the stock psi is good. so like 38-40. It kinda depends on what mods you have.

if your talking to me, well the only mod that i have is an intake so i dont think it could affect it that much.

how is that setup doing anything? it doesnt look like the adjustable regualtor is even hooked up to the fuel. looks like you just T'd the vac line off the stock regulator? wtf?

ebay spawns ricers.

EDIT: now that i look at it, it looks like the fuel return hose is going to the second FPR. how is your fuel getting returned to the tank?

p.s. i dig the AEM injector wiring cover. bahahaha.

That install is very WRONG, not even close. You can't install a regulator after a regulator...it does nothing. That FPR gauge has got to be reading some crazy ish.
That Ebay regulator should have come with an adaptor plate to eliminate the stock FPR.

yes it did have an adapter, so i should remove the old regulator and put an adapter instead

i just did, but it started to leak fuel from the adapter, the old regulater has a rubber seal, the adapter i have doesnt have it, i put my old regulator seal on the adapter but it went iside it and it kept leaking, i dont have the FPR rubber seal for it, what things i can do so it wont leak?!

Just use a bigger O ring. Take the one you have to the parts store or Home Depot and get one or a few that are larger. My O ring fit fine, but my reg. is also by NRG. The OE O ring is also too small for the AEM FPR, but once its tightened down it doesn't leak.

my oem ring fits on the new fpr, but it goes deep in it, after i buy a new ring how much psi should i put?! i'm running a d15b vtec with pm6 ecu and headers and intake

35-38psi will be fine, the gains from a fpr w/o tune are negligeable

i couldnt find any o-ring that fits the adapter, it leaks fuel, what other things i can do?!

guys i guess someone can help, the situation is when i install the adapter on the fuel rail it leaks fuel, i used the o-ring from my old FPR its smaller, i cant find an o-ring, what should i do?

Go to a napa or meyers, they should have assortments of O rings.
